Question paint removal?

Okay. I don't know if is in the right forum, but here we go.

So I had 2 a sets of venoc vipers, and I wanted a set of EoV. So I did a crappy paint job on one set, only to find that they are going to release the EoV along with SH and Nerak.

So obviously, I would like to have that repainted set of vipers back to their original form, since they stink with just one squad.

So is there any way I can remove the top layer of paint from them? I used acrylic paints with no sealer/finish.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

Re: paint removal?

Did you try just washing them? As long as the paint is water-based, it should work to wash it off.

Re: paint removal?

CAREFUL!

Soap and water might just take off the original paint. Repainting your repaints might be your best solution.

Re: paint removal?

I think you can just wait, it will probably chip over time if you are patient. Or maybe try scratching it off with a soft material such as a finger nail?

I love birdies and butterflies and rainbows and unicorns and glitter.

Re: paint removal?

I find that tooth picks are usefull in hard to reach places. Also try rubbing it. It won't take it off completely (not even close) But I think that it helps just the same.

Check out my fanfics.

Re: paint removal?

Warm water...dishwashing liquid and a toothbrush should get it off without ruining the original paint. Use a soft bristle brush though.
