When I first saw the tease for the figure riding the manticore I didn't put together that it was an evil Raelin and thought maybe that was Utgar.

It's good to see that Jandar is still using Knights. The fact that the Frostclaws lie in that particular intersection of "heroic" and "northern" that recurs throughout Jandar's classic army is a nice touch, too.

I'd like to know the lore behind the Dawn Raider Marro. It looks like a tougher Drudge, and it uses a Hivelord suffix in its name. Both qualities seem unusual for a defector, so the potential story seems interesting.

And one of the first expected synergies with OldScape - Knights enhanced by Concan that work with Dupuis! Other than perhaps Su-Bak-Na's D20 boost on the Marro Pirate and the Flagbearer abilities, I don't know if we know of any more synergies.

As I wrote on the Discord, the sculpts for this unit are among my favorite in the entire set. I just love the bears with spearguns.

To me, all the sculpts look great, but I could hold these three unpainted minis in my hand, knowing nothing about where they came from, and I would think, "this is Heroscape."

Everything has been great, but this is why the Frostclaws are maybe my favorite set of units revealed so far. They're so delightfully on-point for what our game has been, and what I hope it will be.

Agreed, all the anthropomorphic animal stuff feels the most reminiscent of classic 'Scape.
