Going to be planning a tournament for NHSD in the MD/DC/VA area. Currently looking for location. Will post more once we find the location for the tournament.

$10 entry fee to cover the cost of pizzas and refreshments. Please leave a message if you have a problem with the pizza toppings of pepperoni, sausage, and cheese.

Drewcula-1.5 RotV, 1.5 SotM, 2 FotA, 1 RtFF, 1 VW, 1 TT, 1 TJ, 1 Marvel

Drewcula will be bringing a prize (its a suprise)

Rules:
Tournament Format -
Time of 1 1/2 hours (this is just to prevent long battles)
550 point Armies
No Marvelscape for tournament play.
May have two different pre-mad armies, but must equal same point value.
In the event of a tie, there will be a tie-breaking round.
We plan to have each person play everybody.

All the possible tournament maps are BoV maps.

Ice Blossom (Drewcula is building this one)

The Broken Skyline

We are willing to even host in the Fredricksburg Area. Just let us know the actual address and we are more than willing to talk to the owner and add it to the list of possible locations for the tournament.

The website is http://www.thegamevault.net/. I've talked to the owner some. She likes Heroscape, but bemoans the lack of people that play in this area. I'm sure she'd love a NHSD Tourney.

Thanks for taking the blog lead on this event. Five weeks will be here before we know it!

It seems likely that no one will be keen on taking the Metro into DC. Nonetheless, my earlier offer still stands; my condo's community room can hold sixty people. Other goodies include a pantry, a large flatscreen, and pool table (for those waiting for the next round, or for those that lose early). My place is centrally located, I'm behind the Verizon Center.

Location aside, the offer to bring hexes is very cool. I bet with only a little coordination, we could have a handful of responsible people agree to pre fab a Heroscapers/GenCon sanctioned battlefield and bring it with them. Or, bring those specific pieces with them and assemble on location. I, for one, could committ to bringing at least one scenario (if not two).

Of course, I would love for it to be at the Savage Mill Family Game store since it is a 10 minute walk from my house. But I will try to go regardless of where it is.

I have one of every terrain set: ROTV, SOTM, RTFF, VW, TT, the Fortress and would be happy to contribute scenarios based on those.

I'm up for just about any location as long as it has easily accessible free parking and is within a 1-1.5 hour radius from my home.
