10th Regiment of Foot to Samuel Brown repaint

Hey all,

Finally got my Samuel Brown! Yeah, it's a 10th regiment repaint, but I only have one squad of 4th Mass and a funny thing happened to prices of 4th Mass on Ebay after Sam Brown's announcement! So when Hasbro was selling these guys during their "dollar days" sale before Christmas, I couldn't resist. The 10th Regiment would be the stand in for Samuel Brown.

Here's the customized army card. It'd be nice if we could get the original layered PS document. (I'm assuming that it's a Photoshop document.)



Here's the repainted 10th Regiment of Foot figure. I cut off the bayonet; the rosette on his tricorn, and the big buckle on the straps crossing his chest. After a previous experience with massive reconstructive surgery, I decided that this Samuel Brown carries a backpack! I repainted his pants as I thought there was a little contrast between pants and vest on the Sam Brown repaints I was seeing, but after applying a wash, They looked just the same as the original deco!

Nice work! I'm planning on using a 10th reg for Samual Brown also. Like you said MM and W sky-rocketed on E-Bay after his release and I don't want to break up the MM I already have.
