Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
I really like Glide, and I think that Flocking helps alleviate 2-man squad's biggest problem (staying in the thick of the action).
Their pricing seems fair to me, because at first look I see them as, at best, a 60 point, 4 member squad who's limited to attacking only twice. I vote YES to review the Beakface Sneaks by Super Bogue. Last edited by Killometer; August 10th, 2011 at 02:13 PM. |

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
Alright, I'm convinced to try these guys out. I vote YES to review.
(Honestly, my biggest concern is the cost and even if that is off a bit, our tests will help to make a resubmit (if needed) that much smoother. The bottomline for me is that these guys look like a lot of fun to play, with some nice options available.) New? I was just going to nominate these guys when I saw them in the gallery. They would definitely get my vote!

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
I nominate my own custom: "Shiftus"
This character allows you to have 2 unique figures in play. It stays unique and keeps its name no mater what so you may only have one of them. It you Have any Questions about this Figure I would be happy to answer them. Thanks! Hello. I have updated my signature in an attempt to convey absolutely nothing, and waste your time reading this every time I post. Thank you. |

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
I wonder if A) you can clean up the wording of Shiftus by saying, "Shiftus' Life, Move, Range, Attack and Defense become those of the chosen figure. Shiftus' Species, Class and Personality become those of the chosen figure, in addition to his own."
Also, you might find powers that don't work for a Medium 5 hero, or at least feel like they shouldn't, such as Trample Stomp. I would suggest limiting it to a small or medium unique hero, and perhaps making the cost modifier less. |

Re: Soldiers of Valhalla - nominations and discussion
Shiftus seems rather complex and likely easily unbalanced, was this well playtested because something of this sort would need to be to make sure it wasn't an issue. Despite needing some wording fixes overall an ability to copy stats and abilities could be very broken.
