Yay Nemo Fans!

On the matter of the new map, you've inspired me to give it a go myself KCU. I'll be posting it tonight, but I made it more of a fort with 'broken' walls as opposed to ruin-like. Also untilized glyphs as well (four of them) and the jungle terrain as an attempt for balance.

Going to take a ton of playtesting to see if it works or not.

As for your map, looks like a good start to me. I imagine trying to get something like this to work for a tourney is going to take a huge effort... sounds like fun.

It is going to take a huge effort for something like this to make it into a tournament, but I think that, eventually, it can be done. If we really push it, we might even get one into BoV, which is my goal in this project.

Also, to keep some interest. I've finished working on a Rotv only map. I'm not sure how it is going to work out and it will start play testing soon. I'll go on and post it tonight, if anyone gives it a shot let me know.

I'll trade you! I've played a couple of games on my single RotV Nuns Fret Not, and I think it might be worth a nomination. I plan to get some more testing in this week.

You play on mine; I'll play on yours! (And maybe we can nominate them both.)

Looks good, KCU. I've downloaded it and I'll get a couple of games on it at some point this week.

Also, I've put Forgotten Outpost in a newly-created asymmtric map development thread. I hope that's OK.

Will be interesting to see how much play the crossing in the middle gets. With the height and glyphs on either end I imagine most of the fighting will concentrate there.

Though the promise of cover with the ruin placement may be enough to entice some to the middle.

That's what I'm going for. The two outer paths with glyphs are where most of the battle will take place but the cover and land bridge in the middle will allow players to "flank" your opponent's hill.

I'm hoping to get some more games in on it tonight or tomorrow. Today is all about Forgotten Outpost though.

Wow, I've been more caught up in the TWAMW thread a lot more than I thought. Anyway 2 things to take care of.
1st) I've put up, yet again, a new PDF of Forgotten Outpost, I had made just a few small mistakes, all of which are fixed now...I hope.

2nd) I got a game in on River Crossing and it is a fun map. At first the battle centered around a defense glyph but I then crossed the 2 hex wide land bridge to attack the smaller enemy hill (my AE claimed the bigger hill when they dropped). In the end it came down to a single AE trying to outrun Tor-Kul-Na...it didn't end well.

Me too on the TWAMW (I really am going to have to change that "workshop" to "project"). I have space to have two maps set up at once. River Crossing has been sitting there lonely while TWAMW maps come and go next to it. I'll play on it soon, I promise!
