Jandarforever's Heroscape Drawings

Well I finally got around to posting my Heroscape drawings. Some of these I did before I was a member and are a little rough, but I like to think they got better as I did each one. Now I'm not anywhere near as accomplished an artist as Hex_Enduction_Hour or CupidsArt, so if anyone wants quality work, go look at their stuff.
Here's one of my firsts, Morsbane. I'm kind of embarrassed to look at it because of its very basic appearance. The hands aren't that great and the folds on his sleeves and robes aren't good either. I do like the clouds behind him though.

This drawing is still a bit rough, but I think it's better. Soulborgs like Major Q9 are pretty hard to do because of all the detail in their armor. If you compare the figure to the drawing, there are some things that don't line up or that aren't even there.

This is a special one for me. I took an art course last year and took my Sonlen figure to one of the classes. We were doing stippling projects, which is a style of art done by drawing your subject with dots. The art teacher really like it for several reasons. The fact that Sonlen is turned away and pointing towards the distance adds a level of mystery and intrigue to the drawing. He also liked the staff, because even though he didn't know quite what it was from the picture, it was an interesting addition to the drawing.

This is one of my newest ones. I was going to add the wording on the Paint program, but it didn't work out so I just did it right on the paper. I like how Sonlen has his fingers pointed just like Uncle Sam, only with Sonlen he wants you.....dead. (If you belong to Utgar)

This is my favorite one! I'm a big fan of characterization and Krug was one of the best to do this to. His big body and small head is a funny explanation of what most trolls are probably like! I decided to shy away from a lot of detail on him such as the designs on his arm guards and the like. I think at some point, too much detail can become distracting and unpleasant to look at.

Any comments or suggestions on how to improve future drawings would be great. Thanks for looking!

It's not whether you win or lose. It's having the 4th Massachusetts Line that counts!
