When rolling attack dice, all shields rolled count as KB. When a player rolls defense, he can apply shields to block hits as well as KB. When a figure hits a wall, a die is rolled just like falling damage.
This worked really well and made for some fun situations like rolling 5KB and no hits but still being effective. My favorite KB was when I used Iron man to blast Venom from engagement and into a wall then with the second attack I blasted Silver Surfer into another wall, destroying him. Any time we break out the supers, we will play this way.
Of course it won't work with the old red and blue dice.
That looks fun and easy. It rewards rolling lots of attack dice and adds virtually no complexity.
Maybe characters with Superstrength knockback 2 spaces per shield...
