Just got home from gaming, but at least I got to hear the last few minutes on the radio. The Jets certainly made it nerveracking at the end. But I'm glad the battered Bears defense held on for the win.

After a bad loss to Buffalo at home in Game 1, they have had a couple nice wins on the road, one on the west coast at San Fran and now east coast against the Jets. Next week need to win against the Packers at home.

Finally a decent defense (albeit against a backup QB and no Adrian Petersen) after two road field goal losses. Saints have to figure out how to win on the road. Dallas is an excellent place for that in the Sunday night game.

Bears/Packers game was one of the worst officiated games I've seen in a long time, even ever. And it was called equally pathetic for both sides, so it wasn't the reason the Bears lost, but it was just horrible to watch a professional football game with peewee level officiating.

Cowboys had a dominate win for the first time in a long time. I'm so use to watching them barely hold onto a lead or rallying for a 4th quarter win. I could get use to taking a big lead and never looking back, that was great. I really thought the Saints were going to expose our defense too but we shut them out in the first half, and no TDs until the 4th quarter. We have a pretty tough schedule though so I'm not getting too excited about our long term record.

That game on Detroit's schedule's suddenly not looking as scary.

Of course, looking at the Panthers from the last two weeks makes me wonder why we struggled so much.

Might be a home/away difference, though.
