I really like the looks of this one, will it be available in the downloads section? Is there any scenario include, or is it standard kill'em. The road through the ice mountains is really neat. I also like the flat areas around the peak for melee guys to engage.

Yes, I'm tweaking the VirtualScape file for it this weekend. I added some misc snow tiles from booster packs for more snow. This map has now been play tested, and it was a blast! The rough terrain slows down fast moving units, and the battles were long. Great map, my personal favorite so far.

Bump for new map!

I've noticed a lack of maps available with swamp terrain, especially those that might be considered for tournament play. So I came up with "Swamp Thing" in an effort to remedy that.

This map still needs play tested a couple more times before I make it available for download...and then hopefully considered for BoV.

Swamp Thing has been play tested 4 times, and revised for tournament use.

Originally, I had 8 trees on the map, but decided to keep only the central ones to fit within the rules for the BoV submissions. I like the map better with more trees, but rules are rules.

This map offers some swampland action and is extremely easy for a tournament organizer to assemble. A definite plus! This map has been submitted to the downloads section of this website under Maps & Scenarios > +1 Master Set. Enjoy!

Stay tuned in the coming week fellow 'Scapers! Browncoat Map Co. is working on a project for your map constructing pleasure. I call it The Table of Elements. These are a series of maps designed to fit on a 36" x 36" card table, with easily interchangeable elevations and obstacles.

Imagine being able to play against your friends a "best of" series of 5 games...and never playing on the same map. Of course there would be a little set up time between matches to change the board, but I'm working hard to minimize this. Those with multiple Master Sets should be able to have other elevations pre-made!

Dude, more good stuff! The Table of the Elements series looks great and solves some set-up issues. I'll have to play them, but Timberland trail and Mt. Salvo Island look like tournament potential.

Thanks!

The files are now available in the 1 Master Set section of the downloads. You can also follow the links in my first post in this thread to links of all my maps. I'm working on a revised version of Glacier Pass...it should be available later this week.
