updated gargoyles of mitonsoul to gargoyles of esenwein! Plus they now have a really nice looking card by mac122!

The Confrontation RAM box has 3 Gargoyles that are not being used by C3V... seems like a perfect option to me. I like the powers on these guys, but 130 points for a unique squad with 4 defense is hard to swallow.

yeah,that was what I was afraid of. I was thinking of either lowering their points or raising their defense to 5. but their draw is they can get up to 7 defense, which is very high for a squad.

Would you mind linking me to some of those gargoyles you were talking about?

They look like they'll require a lot of skill to play well. They do have 7 defense when there are no revealed order markers on their card.

yeah, and they disrupt abilities like crag of steel. I wanted them to either have high attack or high defense, but not both at the same time. They can have up to 6 attack, or 7 defense. To charge them up to 6 attack, you can just go around attacking harmless squads or hiding behind ruins, and then swoop in for the kill, hopefully killing any potential threats. Or you can just reveal the 1st and X OM on the first turn, attack with 3 attacks of 4, and let them have 7 defense for the rest of the round. Their biggest threat is grimnak and braxas, of course.

Just so you know, the C3G makes extremely-high-quality Superhero customs as a fan project, the SoV induces extremely-high-quality individual customs that help continue Classic, and the C3V continues Classic with extremely-high-quality customs as a fan project.

If you want your customs playtested, you are probably going to have to do it yourself. Just play a bunch of games with them, and tweak until they seem balanced.

Thanks for the advice, but I still don't really get the difference between c3v and sov. It sounds like the only difference you said is that c3v is a fan made project, but both of them are fanmade. Are they really that different?

C3V is a project that collaborates on designing and releasing waves of customs to continue Classic Scape.

SoV on the other hand, induces individual customs from the community that fit into Classic Scape and are of high-quality.

There is a C3V team that does their work in secret, while the SoV judges look at customs developed by individual customs designers separate from the C3V.

The SoV and C3V do work together to insure everything is well balanced and works together well.
