NEW!!! Narnia Maps, Scenarios, Units

I've put myself into a working project to recreate Narnia scenes from the movies in Virtualscape. OK, and more...

The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe:

I'm looking for 5 miniatures to represent the 4 Pevensies/the Wolf "hero". I'll just use the Wolves of Badru for these Wolves. They can be from any miniature set. Just want to be able to make this a playable scenario. For those lucky enough...

How about putting the ice bellow the falls on top of water tiles, then having random amounts of outer-edge ice disappear?

It's hard to do that on virtual scape becuase there would be a space between the two levels. But it's a cool idea.

It would have to be one of those things that you have to make a special rule for. The double zero-tile spaces could be water marked with teal startzone spaces

Sweet map, that is right out of the movie. Only one could build it though...

I'm trying to remember scenes from L,W,&W but I can't think of any other cool battlefields. It was a really good movie, imo, even if the plot was a bit absurd (gotta love C.S. Lewis).

I think rolling the d20 should decide if you fall through the ice and how far down stream you are pushed. Nice map, I can build a bit of a scaled down model of this one, it looks like a fun one to play.

I really like the idea of recreating a movie scene. Then you can make two armies that are similar to the characters in that scene for the scenario. I wonder what other movies we could do?

Seems like you could eliminate a lot of the terrain requirements here with a more thought-out construction. Just skipping the first level of the build and placing the trees right onto the table saves you 3 master sets. And there are very few 7-hex pieces used which could sub in for many of the 24-hexs used. Also, if you use glacier bases as ice pieces, there are only 2 TTs worth of ice on this map. There is a lot of snow, but some snow is stacked on top of other snow, which is a waste when you have unused master set pieces of grass,sand,rock,etc. that will be covered ultimately. Just placing the ice pieces over 24-hex rock instead of over snow saves more than a full TT worth of snow.
If your goal is for people to actually be able to build this thing, you should consider stuff like that. If it's just for fun, well, forget I said anything.


Looking for a way to get casual players involved in Heroscape? Do your opponents lack the interest or knowledge to build/draft their own armies? If so, check out Project 500!
