Here are the results for the eighty-seventh battle:

Spoiler Alert!

The CEE's army:
Runa, minions of utgar x2, the Airborne Elite, and the Marro Warriors.



Andy's army:
Elaria the Pale, Pelloth, deepwyrm drow x3, the Nakita Agents, and Isamu.



We played on Shockma Ranyk's map Forges of Utgar (minor construction error) without any glyphs.



The Airborne Elite make a hasty landing right in front of my start zone.



After winning initiative, the soldiers march onto the bridges and are able to snipe a single Nakita Agent.



Elaria kills an Airborne Elite with a single well-placed knife.



The second volley of shots from the Airborne Elite kill two drow; one on either side of the board.





The remaining Nakita Agents advance and gun down two more Airborne Elite.



The Marro Warriors move up to help reinforce the eastern bridge. They eliminate another Nakita Agent.



Threatened of being overwhelmed the last Nakita Agent drops a minion.



Elaria isn't very slippery this turn and takes two hits from a minion.



However, next turn she escapes. The minions settle for a drow instead.



The drow strike back, slaying a minion.



With Elaria's assistance, the last Nakita Agents successfully deploys smoke powder to conceal them both.



A drow hides in darkness to avoid a minion's axe.



Pelloth unleashes lolth's wrath hoping to kill a couple minions. Only one minion falls victim.



The remaining squad of minions cut down a drow and slaughter Pelloth with an especially devastating deadly strike.





Another drow bites the dust.



A minion perishes.



So does another one on the next turn.



Again with Elaria's boost a successful smoke powder roll is made. The Marro Warriors then set their sights on the two drow, both of which hide in darkness.



Elaria climbs onto the bridge and throws another knife at a Marro Warrior.



This area of the board must be pretty dark, because the drow just keep hiding!



Two drow finish off the last minion.



The Marro Warriors shoot a drow, while another one hides in darkness again.





A second Marro Warrior perishes.



Once again, a drow hides in darkness while another one is struck down.





Yet another Marro Warrior falls.



Long ignored, the last surviving Airborne Elite creeps around the corner and lines up the Nakita Agent in his scope. Bang!



Runa swoops in and deals a death blow to the last drow.



Elaria assassinates the last Airborne Elite.



Isamu vanishes from Runa's vision and then deals her a wound.





The little red ninja vanishes again.



This gives Elaria time to eliminate the last Marro Warrior.



Elaria's throwing knives hit their mark, bringing Runa up to three wounds.



Isamu runs out of vanishes.



Elaria is finally defeated.



The CEE wins!

Kurrok the Elementalist, fire elemental x4, water elemental x4, and air elemental x4.



Andy's army:
Mimring, Krug, arrow gruts x3, swog rider x1, and Ice Troll Berzerker x1.



We played on tom's map The Frozen Cavern without any glyphs. The snow will be treated as heavy snow. The ice will be treated as normal ice.
