I am going to add the answers in a spoiler to the OP. EDIT: It is funny that almost everyone got one of the 2 most common specials answers right, but no one got them both right. EDITEDIT: Krug has more attack than Jotun when wounded. Lol.

So then shouldn't the max attack be 20?

And I disagree with #5's answer... shouldn't it be everyone with the revive glyph? I thought it was a trick question...

I think you can get higher with Jotun because the Blasts can't get treasure glyphs. Blasts start with 12 if a hive is fully surrounded, and 14 with double height, 15 with Taelord, 16 with Captain America, 17 with Astrid, 18 with Dagmar, 19 with Ana Karithon, 20 with common attack glyph.

Arkmer can still beat 9K. Arkmer should be able to be surrounded by 12 Elves with ladders, with one being Kyntela Gwyn, so he starts at 15. He can have all the same glyphs and bonuses then as 9K can, except jungle since he has elves instead.

Yes for Arkmer he doesn't even need to have ladders to be surrounded by 12 elves. If he is on a space that is elevated 3 levels, surrounded by elves he will get +6. Then, there can be an overhang (with a hole in it for Arkmer to poke through) over those 6 elves with 6 more elves (one being Kyntela) that Arkmer is still adjacent to since he is elevated 3 levels and sticks through the overhang. He also can be on a shadow space.

So I think his total would be:

2 base, +12 elves, +1 for Kyntela, +1 for shadow, +1 for regular defense glyph, +2 for regular defense +2 glyph, +1 for the defense +1 treasure glyph, +3 for 1 use RoP treasure glyph, +1 for Giant hunter treasure glyph, +2 for extreme height, and +2 for Raelin (if we include her), +1 for Thorgrim's spirit, +1 from Ana against Utgar= 30 (27 w/o non-elf figures) and, there probably is some other defense boosting things I forgot to mention

Technically, if you go into teammates with Khousmet, you could say you have an infinite number of teammates with Finn, who all put Finn's spirit on Krug.
