So I tried a design for some Iron Man Villains, so here's my design for Justin Hammer. He is a very important villain, not only to Iron Man, but to many of the Marvel Heroes

The Hellcow I'm using is about 1 1/4 inches tall (to the tip of her horns). When I picked her out I had my Uncle Sam mini with me to gauge her size. I like how she fits (though just barely) on a single base. This will make her a bit awkward to move about in tight spaces - however cows aren't that graceful so I think it's thematic. She was very cheap to buy (25 cents) and not hard to repaint. I've included a picture of her by Uncle Sam at the bottom of my post for you to see.

Where I live most educational/science stores have buckets of plastic animals that you can pick through and buy individually. That is where I picked up my 'Killer Penguins' and where I found my Hellcow mini. The beauty of it is you can get them for about 25 cents a piece (or 5 for $1.00). Bags of farm animals also seem to be available in Dollar Stores quite often - that is where I found my Toxic Waste barrels too.

However, if those options don't work for you there is no problem finding cows online as they are a staple of model train collectors. I think these will work (though you are stuck paying about $10.00 for a pack):

Mario's Trains
Ebay Cows

I also found individual cows that are the right height on ebay for about $1 or $2 (plus shipping).

The cow I used was white with black spots (and very poorly painted). I then painted it brown and draped some Apoxie sculpt over her back to make the cape. However, I think a black fabric (felt) cape that is crazy glued on her would work just as well if you don't like using Apoxie.

I'm not someone who modifies and repaints figures often (I've only ever modified a Sentinel toy to make Master Mold & repainted Wonder Man to make The Beyonder). However, despite my inexperience I found Hellcow easy to make.

I hope that helps. I'd also like to hear if anyone has other ideas for the mini.

So just to make sure I understand this, you are only allowed to post a custom figure design here if you are listed as a sidekick? Because I have a design for Crossbones and Whirlwind I think are good and people would enjoy playing.

You can post them here if you want, and earn points by playtesting figures, and then you can create them when you have the points and become an Ally (by playtesting).
