The Book of Iron Man (Stealth Suit)

Looks pretty good. I really like powers that let figures move after they attack. Hit & run tactics combined with stealth dodge looks like a winner.

Yeah, this guy feels very much like a classic scape figure, but the available powers fit together so nicely for a stealth suit that we couldn't help ourselves. I'll tell you one thing about this guy - he's fast!

Oh yeah, this guy is very quick and evasive. He can be very annoying most of the time, and you really don't want to end up with him as the enemy clean up guy, cause on an open map, this guy dominates.

Yeah, at first glance, this guy is the least exciting unit in the wave due to not having any new powers, but I think he'll be a lot of fun to play. 6 Defense Stealth Dodge? Awesome. It's nice to have a unit every once in a while that's just a simple, straightforward design that reuses powers in a new way to makes them feel fresh. I really want to try him out.

I made my version before I saw this version (I should put up some pics). What I did was use a shiny black paint, and a blue. I mixed a tiny amount of the black into the blue to darken it and give it a little shine, then I painted the blue on all the yellow areas, and then the regular shiny black over the red areas. Then I added red to his eyes, chest, hands, etc...

It took me quite a few coats of black to fully cover the red. The shiny black might just be thinner, though.

All I did was take a can of metallic blue automobile spray paint, spray painted it from top to bottom, then used red on the various areas. Yeah, I get kind of lazy when it comes to smaller repaints repaints like this. It actually looks pretty good, except at the time I didn't have any bright red paints, so... probably have to redo those parts soon.

HOW TO PAINT THE STEALTH SUIT IRON MAN:

1. Paint the entire Iron Man figure metallic blue, except for the fire portion of course. If your metallic blue is really bright, you may want to darken is just a little tiny bit with some navy blue. Don't add too much though, or the paint won't have that nice shiny sparkle, and it will also end up being too dark after step two.
2. Make a metallic black wash by mixing black and silver paint with water until it is runny enough to run through the cracks of the figure and sit there without the paint actually caking on.
3. Let that wash dry thoroughly.
4. With a very small detail brush, just go over each circular dot on the armor with bright red glossy paint, then do the same thing for the eyes and the arc reactor on the chest.

Sure thing. Also, it is really nice seeing you around here more these days. I think the last time we interacted it was a bit of "your language needs help" VS "prove it". That door is always open btw.
