I vote YES to review Threforian Raptor by Fi Skirata. It looks like it might still be a bit pricy for a single attack, but it's ability to bring some friends along might make it worth it.

I vote NO to review Ocelot by Tmac2200. Availability is questionable, and "Ocelot" is a great name for a Go-bot, but a terrible name for a giant robot that fights for a general of death and chaos.

In the display thread, could you provide a link to the info (in this thread maybe) about the figure to use and availability. I found the original submission which used a modified Capuan Gladiator, but diddn't have the time to go through three pages of keyword results to find the final submission info.

Good idea. I'll add that info to all of them.

Edit: Nevermind. I started to, but I realized that all the sculpt info is in each unit's Book, and while it's not so bad for the heroes, for the ZI it adds a lot to the post, and I'd like to keep them trim. For now, though, Priscus is the Shifter Claw Adept from D&D's Against the Giants.

I vote to review Ocelot due to the availability concerns that others have already mentioned. I could find nine between eBay and Troll & Toad.

#38 shifter claw adept. Usually (sometimes) easier to find by number.

Hey all! Me and AwesomeUnleashed would like to nominate our first custom, the Greenspawn Assassin.


USES/PLAYABILTY

The Greenspawn Assassin is a unit that needs a screen of some sort to be effective. Rats work particularly well with them, because of their ability to lock down units, rendering them almost helpless to the Greenspawn's knives. Goblins work well to some extent, but are always competing for order markers. We originally considered some sort of ammo limit, but decided, if Shiori doesn't have one, why should he?
Through playtesting we found that the "sweet spot" was 4. With only 3 they were crippled as soon as one died, with 5 you don't have enough points left for a screen and long range support they need. Since Ambush can only be used once per round, they should usually receive the "X" and either the #1 or #3 order marker. That also means you need other units in your army that are comfortable working behind Rats, that will take the other two order markers, like Krav, Q9, Skahen etc. At first glance they might seem powerful for 50 points, but I think Ace of Spades summed it up very well when he said, "Remember, this is a 1[5]0 point squad that only activates together during the first order marker; they can have one overpowered turn, and two underpowered turns."

The figure is the D&D Blood War #32 Greenspawn Sneak
Availability is great. AbPrices shows 135, and that doesn't even count Auggies 50. I was also able to find 20-30 on Ebay that weren't from those stores.

The Greenspawn Assassin's Ambush SP should specify "up to 2 other" instead of "any 2 other". As worded, if you don't have two others available, you can't use the power.
