Rolls for Re-rolls
I am going to implement a new thing for this tourney that was used at a Warhammer tourney I attended. It is called rolls for re-rolls. What it amounts to is that for each roll of paper towels you bring with you to the tourney up to four you will get a re-roll token. In each of the first four games you will be able to use one token per game to re-roll one single die.

These paper towel rolls will then be donated to the Mower County Humane Society.

I thought it was a neat way to help a charity out and add an extra dimension to the game. It is obviously completely optional to bring the rolls, but if you do you get a little bonus, kind of like a literal karmic boost

I am wondering about limiting the roll to only an attack or defense die, but I am thinking it should be fine and simpler to just allow it for any die roll including d20s and general specific dice. What do you guys think?

First - I hope Gamers Reunion is not dead, but just taking a year off... would love to see it come back in some form in 2013...

I would be in favor of having a SummonerWars tourney the same weekend as the Heroscape tourney.

On second thought I don't really care ... my vote is just to have BOTH Heroscape and SummonerWars tourney no matter what day they fall.

My kids and I are in for HS only. Besides, I don't have enought time to get them hooked on another great game.

Gamers Reunion holds very dear memories to me. It was our first tourney and my kids nailed down the last two places.

We are pushing forward with the Heroes B Ware Tourney in Eagan, Feb 25th. More details to follow...

Another great idea, to add to the game without making a big change over all.

I could see a bigger impact if it is a roll for initiative....however you still have to make the roll successful, and you are limited to only once a game and that is if you have a roll left ... In that scenario I assume you opponent would also have a chance to re-roll against your re-roll if he or she has a roll left to use.

I like it ... I am going to check with our food bank in town and see what products they are typically short of and may do the same thing at the TTO based on how things go in Austin.

Yeah, sometimes initiative can be a big one, but the re-roll is definitely not a guarantee of success That happened to me most of the times I used my re-roll at Waaagh Paca
