I've seen her do some pretty acrobatic stuff. I really wasn't sure how to represent her light daggers other than Sensory Assault, do you have any suggestions there?

Living Light Generation: Dagger generates a form of 'living light' which is actually lifeforce. She produces much more than normal humans do, but is usually conservative in the use of her powers. Overuse of her powers could be fatal. Dagger generates and stores this lifeforce energy automatically. If she goes for more than a week or so without using her powers she will become fevered and delirious, and eventually discharge her energy involuntarily.
  • Light Daggers: Tandy can form 6-inch 'light daggers' which she can throw from her fingertips. Her daggers may automatically form under certain conditions, such as another person in danger. The maximum effective range is unknown, but the daggers seem to weaken with further distance. Tandy has a limited ability to control their flight and reinforce them by compelling them to seek targets. They can track a being, but it is most effective when searching for Cloak. Those hit by these knives have their own lifeforce disrupted. Dagger can then drain a portion of their lifeforce; enough to kill if she wishes. Normally she chooses to leave them in a state of shock where they will see a vision of how their life might be different. The experience is powerful enough to make most individuals rethink their choices, although a hardened criminal or evil being is unlikely to change their ways.
  • Living Light Detoxification: Tandy's energy can also 'purge' a person, removing toxins, drugs etc.
  • Living Light Manipulation: Nonliving objects are unaffected by her daggers; sometimes Tandy can redirect the daggers after they ricochet, other times the daggers are dispersed if they hit a non-living thing. She can project her lifeforce energy in a diffused manner, allowing her to illuminate dark areas as if by natural light. Tandy can also projects her 'light' into Cloak's dimension to feed his 'hunger.' She is unharmed when traveling through his dimension and can pass this protection to others.
Strength level

Normal human female with intensive regular exercise, focusing on improving agility rather than lifting ability
Just a rough idea for Light Daggers. This would be based on some of the bolded text above, I figured something like this that would allow her to guide the daggers (no clear sight), only affect humans, mutates and mutants to narrow down the list of likely living targets, have a d20 roll for OM removal to see if figure is left in a state of shock and allow her to throw 2 of them at 2 different targets to show that she can throw multiples of them, and because the mini has 2 of them coming out.

LIGHT DAGGER SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 5. Attack 1.
Dagger may only target human, mutant and mutate figures with this special attack but does not require clear sight of the targeted figure. Targeted figures cannot roll defense dice when defending against this special attack. If a Unique Hero figure receives a wound from this attack, you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 17 or higher, you may remove one random Order Marker on the defending figure's card. When Dagger attacks with this special attack, she may attack 1 additional time. She cannot attack the same figure more than once.

I'd rather say Androids, Undead, and Destructible Objects aren't affected by the special attack than only Humans, Mutants, and Mutates are.


C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

I'd be fine replacing Acrobatic Maneuver with that SA if you don't think she's acrobatic enough for it. And I agree with Bats that I'd rather limit who's NOT affected by it.

Yeah, the NOT affected approach would be better.

The thing with Acrobatic Maneuver is that a lot of comic book figures or cartoon characters do some acrobatic moves, heck most of them seem to. I've seen Hawkeye do some quite impressive acrobatic moves and certainly Captain America does too, but neither has that power on their card because of it and I don't think Dagger is close to Cap or Hawkeye or so many others that regularly flip, leap and whatnot.

Without AM, her defense should certainly be bumped to 4.

SP updated. I think we're ready for an initial here. I'm aiming for 115 points here because I don't think she's that powerful and I want her and Cloak at odd point totals to make them more draftable together.

C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT (DAGGER)

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.

- MIRROR TEST/ Check to see if the unit were played against itself, if there would be any loops that would upset the balance of the Game.

- BONDING TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing Bonding abilities to make sure there are no continual Bonding possibilities that do not stop appropriately or do not stop at all. This is to prevent loops in Bonding.

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit to powerful or too weak.
