First off I noticed he played with the Hasbro Hulk in the first game. (People are gonna do that so that was fine) Secondly I don't think he earned his points here either. I could see costing him at 40-50 points now.

It's worth noting that he can be drafted and placed on the battlefield at the same time as Hasbro Hulk. Is this something we should or even can address? It seems like it'd be in our best interests to make him compatible with both Hulks if possible.

Technically yes. There really isn't anything we can do because the Marvel stuff doesmt have a Secret Identity. We'd have to specify the Imcredible Hulk or figures with the secret identity of Bruce Banner every time it is referenced.

hmm, yeah, Hasbro really boned us on that one by putting the whole Incredible Hulk in there then. I guess he's just not compatible with Hasbro Hulk then - at least not thematically. I guess that their Hulk is just one where he'd separated from Banner, though.
Either way, marv_art's test is basically worthless since he played it incorrectly and he played it with the wrong Hulk. You should probably request he redo the test with the C3G Hulk.

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.

Iffy, but PASS. If you really love Hulk and want a chance to extend your Hulk rampages, he’s a good addition.

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
PASS I find the strategies used to block Banner more interesting than the ones used to use him (which are more cowardly) but there are certainly strategies here.

- Give a brief overview. Banner’s not someone you’re going to do much with, but the one thing he does is pretty valuable.

Spoiler Alert!

I felt cheap running away with Hulk at the end of Round 4 in order to trigger Puny Human, but Hulk had 6 wounds going against a full life von Strucker and it was the best strategic move. As a result, Hulk healed 3 wounds, Bruce swung at von Strucker and missed, von Strucker killed Banner in one punch, then Hulk came back and, after taking wounds four and five, get re-enraged and pummeled von Strucker for the win.
Prior to this Banner shuffle, Hulk had destroyed Absorbing Man (who put 5 wounds on him) and all of the Hired Guns (who took out all the Ant Pods before they did anything, and put one wound on Hulk).
Absorbing Man actually killed Hulk out right on his first attack the first time I did this, but I replayed in hopes of getting Banner involved.
Who won and how many wounds did they have? Wasp and Hulk with 2 life survive to win on Turn 3 of Round 6.

[spoiler]Even with Bruce Banner managing to heal 3 wounds off of Hulk twice, Hulk just doesn’t match up well against MODOK and Graviton. Both can keep piling wounds on him without ever triggering his Rage Enhanced DNA. MODOK also used his Psionic Control to put wounds on Hulk early, have him rage and hit Cap, then end the round unengaged.

That is what I said when I was working on this with tickle last week. However, how do you guys feel about us making an Errata to the official cards or actually scanning them and putting the secret identities in?

I'd like that. Maybe create C3G rules for the official cards that gives them all secret identities.
