Is this Classic? (we don't base our points on the same types of scenarios or even the same units that Classic did)

Does Krug have double attack?

Does he bond with a common squad?

Does he face high costed unique heroes and stay balanced?

Can Krug be basically nerfed by ignoring him until you're ready to take him down all in one or two turns worth of attacks?

I'm not saying that write up isn't more powerful that Krug, just that I disagree with "grossly undercosted."

I'm just going to stop pricing him considering I'm just following the band wagon. However, IAmBatman has a good point, however, Marvelscape is more powerful than Classic, and therefore Toxin would be able to die easier at 6 life/4 defense. So even if he got to 9, 10, or 11 attack, he honestly wouldn't last all that long against most Marvel (not factoring in lucky rolls and such). So, I'll stick with my 210 cost (which may be an eense low).

Lots of discussion here. I like it.

Just as a note on the flavor we should be working toward - Mulligan is a good cop in a bad situation; he wants to make the best of his powers, but deep down he doesn't want them at all. But the Symbiote isn't just a mindless monster he's trying to fight. Mulligan teaches him morality (something that Venom and Carnage don't quite get). Toxin WANTS to fight crime, but he wants to wipe it out. He's very childish; he thinks in terms of "they're bad so we should kill them." And he rather enjoys that part.

I think the key scene to be basing the character on is early in Toxin's career. He's out fighting crime, and he finds a petty thief. And at this point, Mulligan is REALLY depressed; he's deep in self-pity, lonely, sad, angry. So he lets Toxin loose on the guy, and Toxin tears him to shreds. Later on he's chastising the Symbiote - "that's wrong, we can't do that, I shouldn't have let you." And Toxin says that, deep down, they BOTH wanted to destroy that guy.

That's the meal ticket. He's a Vigilante that sometimes gives in to that temptation to murder and maim.

(Yeah, he gets stronger as he takes more damage, too, but that's not really touched upon - it's not a power or anything. It's more like "...wait, you hurt me? THEN I'LL KILL YOU!" No different than any other superhero, really.)

Also, he doesn't really swing as often as he climbs, from what I recall. So I think a shorter web movement would be best, if any. Also, he's an excellent tracker - he can hunt down anyone in New York with a drop of blood or what have you.

Good, I am glad you realize that he is worth more than Krug, clearly, and I think there may be a difference in how we define "grossly undercosted".

Maybe give him a penalty if he kills someone? Something I put on my Anti-Venom here.

Murderous Impulses - If Toxin attacks and destroys a figure, roll the 20 sided die. If you roll a 1-10, put one damage on this card. If you roll an 11-20, you must attack an adjacent figure, if able.
