I suspect it is an underused list in general. There are many cards on this list that have no peers on the site (and yet have been largely forgotten IMO). At the very least, I look at the list often to get mechanics ideas, thematic ideas for characters I don't know as well, wording examples, and so on.
If you aren't borrowing ideas from others via this list, then I would ask why not? Some of my best cards have ideas borrowed directly from great cards from this list. Great resource.
