Gates of the Elemental Chaos

This thread is dediccated to the discussion of my up and coming Dungeon crawl, Gates of the Elemental Chaos.

Summary: The use of thhe wellsprings to summon soldiers has begun to weaken the fabric of reality. Gates to the Elemental Chaos of DnD lore have begun to appear, and on the other sides of these gates, lie powerful artifacts. Our heroes must race Kurrok the Elementalist, whose knowledge of teh Elemental Chaos is impecable, to acquire these artifacts.

Essentaily, it's similar to Knights of the Daystorm with less requirments.

500-point party, with second wind rules.

There will be four elemental themed levels, and a finale, with opponents in the vein of River of Blood (the DM bases his army around a single squad/hero.) The scenarios can be attempted in any order, with the finale being last.

Atlaga? Not a Wyvern? Wyverns are much more wind-ish.

Also, maybe you could force players to include at least 1 elemental in each room, just to solidify the theme.

The air room will be a pretty tight room where flying units have the obvious advantage. Atlaga helps Kyrie armies.

As for the elementals, I want to save them for the Maelstrom, as to provide an unique challenge.

I would say Frost Giant should replace Nerak now that we know more about him...I would agree that wyverns seem more appropriate for air room (or maybe wyrmlings?)
Personally I would throw in an elemental for each room (maybe not for ice?) and have a big boss type figure (Jotun?Krug?Moltenclaw?Hydra?) as the basic enemy for the 450pt finale
