Thanks, it's funny when I made her I was thinking of giving her coverfire, but for Ninjas. I do like the idea of cf for Aquila, but there aren't any tricky figures for Aquila or any common personalties, and I don't want to give her omini coverfire for Aquila figs. I think I'll stick to my original idea, but thanks for the suggestion.

Anyway, today's update is my first squad in a while, the Chainbonders of Burning Forge. Hurling their huge ball'nchains at the enemy, the Chainbonders act is living artillery for the Dwarves of the Burning Forge.

Made from: 3 and a half of the Axegrinders, brass chain, ball from an 'eazy bead' kit, and FixIt sculpt.

Awesome! These guys seem great!

I think they could have three range, and have a one-range special ability that affects all figures around them. But, then again, I'm just dreaming... ^_^

Anyways, great figures! They look almost as if they were official figures themselves! ^_^

I like the Ballbusters of Burning Forge (that name is definitely not correct). They fit perfectly with the rest of the dwarf army. I love seeing the existing armies get filled out, and these guys are a great idea.

I'm beginning to wish WotC would hire you, Soundwarp. You should not be the only HSer with these figures.

Anyway, Today's figure is Nanoc the Barbarian. A powerful warrior that fights for Aquila, Nanoc channels his rage into a powerful battle fury that crushes his enemies. (and sees them driven before him)

Made from: Venom's body, Valguard's head, ax from a Minion, sword from Grimnak, animal head from a TMNT figure, and FixIt Sculpt.

Looks like Papa Tarn to me. I could see him with a Dupuis-inspired ability with the Tarn Vikings.

A Warrior's Courage - When attacking with a normal Attack, Nanoc the Barbarian adds 1 extra die for each Human Warrior within 3 clear-sight spaces, to a maximum of +3 dice for A Warrior's Courage.

A Warrior's Cunning - When any friendly Human Warrior within 3 clear-sight spaces is targeted with a normal Attack, you may immediately take a turn with Nanoc the Barbarian.
