"edited by..."
I've noticed I occasionally see at the bottom of others' posts "edited by <insert 'scaper name>..." along with a time and date. As an edit button user myself I wonder why I do not see that at the bottom of my edited posts. Is it:
a) an effect of being edited by someone else b) something others can see but that you can't see yourself c) a profile option I missed d) something else ~Aldin, curiously EDIT TO TEST |

Are you editing your posts before someone replies, Aldin? The time stamp shows after your post is 'etched in stone' - or has been replied to.
At least that's my understanding. I know on other forums I visit, as soon as you edit, it's noted as such, regardless if you get a reply. |

D.
I believe that only shows up if your post has posts following it. So, if you were to edit your above post as i type this, and nobody else posts, it won't show up. If you wait until AFTER i respond, then it WILL show up. Admins, am i correct? |

Fascinating! Yup, that's it! I almost ALWAYS edit immediately as I do a last 'glance over' and see a typo - thus the missing link in my comprehension. Much appreciated!
