Wave 1 for Cheap!

Troll and toad is currently holding 30+ boxed Wave 1's at a clearance price of 18 dollars!

Old news. Was already a thread about it here. And for most people the shipping got a little out of hand, $12-16 for 1 set of the wave if I remember right.

Oh well, someone might not have seen it the first time right? I bought the wave along with a ton of loose minis and the shipping cost was under 14 dollars. That's not that bad IMO. Also, 30 something bucks for a wave is lower than many of the prices I've seen.

I use them a lot, and it seems like I always have a couple of shipping options (including the cheapest one) that don't show up until I actually check out. From what I can tell, T&T has been working to revamp their storefront lately. I hope it continues to improve...

I bought a couple of these and I don't remember the shipping being outrageous.

That was just my opinion of shipping, and if you're buying multiples of the wave the shipping gets more reasonable (again just my opinion).

Aye, the shipping wasn't too bad if you buy enough stuff. I purchased three sets of wave 1, and it came to about $20 shipping. Which isn't too bad compared to what ebay prices would be.

Hard to believe that at one point a few years ago, Wave 1 was going on ebay for $80!...before the reprint, of course. Castles easily went for around $50...before the stash of them was released on the public.

I paid $50 for the Wave 1 hero pack alone back in 2008. If I had just waited a few years.

Lol, I had auctioned a castle set on ebay and it went for $50. Two months later, the mother lode showed up and the dropped to about $18 BIN. Stayed that way to this day.

Good thing I didn't go hogwild with speculation (they were selling here for about $35 at the time, I sold one off just to see what would happen). Then I bought em up when they were being blown out. 20 castles later and I'm a happy guy.
