Grade my army?

Based on a 500 point normal base.
2x deepwyrm drow, pelloth, estivar, darrak ambershard, and fen hydra( or torin if being attacked by an opponent with great range.)

Fun Grade? B+

Tough to make some of those synergies work, but it'll look good on the map and can really do some damage with the right rolls, maps and situations.

Competitive Grade? D+

On a non-dungeon/shadow tile map the Drow are substantially less powerful than other figures that fill a similar spot in an army. Though both Darrak and Estivara have good synergies with other figures (Axegrinders and Spiders, respectively) the army doesn't have any of their synergistic figures. The Fen Hydra needs to do almost all the heavy lifting - but against an army with range is unlikely to be able to close the gap fast enough to be in a condition to do so.

Pelloth is an anacromancer, so estivar helps him out, but i was thinking of torin instead of fen hydra, and with the phantom knights being attacked from range, including their unsubstantial 3, and they are ajacent to torin, it helps defending, and most of my characters are ugtar, so that def helps, but if someone had a couple of squads with 1 range, then i would use fen in that case.

Competitively? Never been to a tourny but it doesn't look like it would stand a good chance

I think it looks like a solid army but with my win loss ratio you may not wish to take that thought seriously.

I think it might help us give you a constructive answer if you tell us (a) what you have and (b) what kind of environment you'll be playing in, specifically whether it will be a tournament or a home game, and maybe whether you are playing multiplayer or against just one person.

It was either that or instead of 1 squad of drow, i would have the phantom knights. but I am always mixing n matching armies.

If you have all of wave 11

definite-
x2 deepwyrm drow- 140
pelloth- 230

that's your army core

Don't use torin. I've tried him with varying sucess (as in sometimes he fails less miserably sometimes)

Note that you only thought about using 2 squads. And you have almost no range.

If you have sotm use x2 stingers

If you have RotV use krav


Summary-
Drow core with ranged squads and a hydra.

And that would probably bump you up to a C+ or B

Pelloth- 370
drow chainfighter x5- 495
