This race is not so close as the other poll.

A lot more varied collection of units here. Two Beasts, two champions and a Beast Master. Champions bond with the Heavy and Blade Gruts, Beasts bond with the Arrow Gruts. The Beast Master has can a power where he can bond with common beasts. (I am drawing a blank, do we have common beasts?)

For Champions the Heavy and Blade Gruts already have...
Auto Kill power (Grimnak)
Adjacent Def and Att Buffs (Grimnak, Tornak)
Fast move and Disengage (Tornak)
Adjacent Attack Buff (Ornak)
Def Buff Aura (Nerak)

What they are lacking...
Special Attack - The biggest glaring weakness I for the orc armies would say. (Grimnaks chomp is a special power).
Range - An all melee army could use some range.
Regenaration - A rare power that needs to be handled carefully.
Speed Buffs - Sort of like what mittens does for the scouts.
Durability - None of the current champions can be considered a tank. Grimnak could be argued at 5 life and 4 def but thats not super durable.
Heavy Attack - None of the current champions have a heavy hitting normal attack.


For Beasts the Arrow gruts already have...
Heavy hitting double attack (Krug)
Ranged Special attack(Mimring)
Adjacent Def and Att Buffs (Swog)
Fast Move and Disengage(Swogs)

What they are lacking...
I would say a Durable Special Attacker.(Mimring aint durable)
Speed Buffs - Sort of like what mittens does for the scouts.
Regenaration - A rare power that needs to be handled carefully.

In the group above two has a designated special attack. One other has a charge attack special power with a d20 kill power.
No Speed buffs, ranged attacks or regenaration in this bunch.
All these guys a fairly durable, no cream puff in the bunch. Same with the attack, no feeble units one has an attack of 2, but makes up for it with offensive special abilites.

Just somethings to think about.

From what I'm seeing in the other poll and based on the contest rules, it's looking like it's gonna be a battle of the Uncommon Heroes in the first heat.

I chose entry 9, it looks the most official.

URUSH ONETUSK: Nice beefy stats to go with the figure. Momentum is a pretty cool power. But Axe and Arrow, while interesting, is just OK.

BEAST RIDER: VWNS. More good stats. Fear of the Beast is great, but could use a little rewording. Beast Leadership is nice as well, but I'm not sure all together it makes him worth 200 points.

BELGON THE MIGHTY: Not a very orc sounding name, IMO, and doesn't follow the champion naming scheme ("-nak"). Rampaging Rhino doesn't really do it for me. He's already got Double Attack, which he could use to get 2 attacks of 4 if he moves to height instead of staying on the same level. His stats and points also seem kind of low for the figure.

ORC BANEBREAK RIDER: Deceptively low stats on this uncommon hero. So they look strange, but actually work out really well. Trample could probably be clarified whether it works when he moves into engagement or the enemy does or both. I like Banebreak Charge, but the last line needs to be dropped. If the target has to be 4 spaces away, he's not ever going to get +1 or +2 dice.

DARVAK: Oooh, so close on the "-nak" name. "Low" stats, but high Life and Double Attack to make up for it. He and Belgon could both clarify whether or not Double Attack can be used in conjunction with their special attacks. Gore is just way too wordy for me.

Only thing was I thought for Orc Champions names the key was the 'ak' ending. GrimnAK, TornAK, OrnAK, and the NerAK. Maybe Nerak as is the excemption to the 'nak'. Cant really trust those glacier gruts, they are an odd shady bunch with too much inbreeding.
