i wonder why most of the heroscape figures have most the same pose like sonja esenwein and akmer sure their look is different and not so extrem like the 4th, the 10th or the ashigarus.
but this pic look so funny the indians remake the old drake pose , he could be an ancestor of him.

In response to the topic of the thread, I'd say that there are only so many ways you can hold your arms (both the ones attached to your shoulders and the ones that fire bullets), so given enough humanoid figures sure there are going to be similar poses.

Another factor is that since sculpts affect line of sight in Heroscape, overly dynamic sculpts are rare in this game, with certain notable exceptions like Crouchy the Airborne Elite. If most figures essentially have to be standing straight up, the poses will naturally start to look similar.

It probably also has to do with how the figures attach to the base. There are 4 holes on the standard base, so poses are limited if both feet have to fit into holes.

Yeah, these are not the only examples of sculpts that look like they were made from the same basic mold. If you look closely, many of our little plastic friends look like they may have common ancestors.

The 4th Mass., The 10th Reg., The Ash. Harq.

The Tagawa Archers, The Aubrien Archers

The Nagrubs, The Wolves of Badru, The Reavers

Theracus, Ulginesh

The Sentinels, The Minions

The Imperium, The Protectors

. . . just to name a few. I'm sure there are others.


EDIT: Actually, I'm pretty sure Johnny Shotgun's pose is cut from the same mold as Drake and your Mohican.

It's not your fault at all. Many of the "mega neg rep" people are the ones that berate people much harder for neglecting to type well. dra(gon) doesn't have his location by his name so nobody should expect you to assume English is a second language for him.

That would be more true if he was new but he has been here for quite awhile...and his English is still better than some of the natives

I wouldn't neg rep you over it though.
