My Customs 1/21/13 added 2 New Utgar Units

Threse are the units I have made cards for. I have indicated the mini used wherever possible. In the spoilers below I have added their homeworlds. Drakikor is my homebrew D&D universe.

Lady Elaine


Homeworld: Earth

Bio: When Jandar summoned Sir Denrik to Valhalla. Denrik's daughter was left fatherless. As she grew up and learned of her father, she took more interest in swords and warfare an the courtly life of a lady. She travelled to the far east. There she trained under a kensai in the art of using her sword as both a weapon and armor. She returned home and reformed her father's chapter of the Knights of Weston. When she moved into battle unarmored , it inspired others to charge into the battles well. Elaine, like her father, encountered overwhelming odd but was saved by Jandar who gave her the holy Sword of Saints. Now father and daughter fight side by side against evil.

Armoc Mutate is a Dreamblade Malborn Croc

BIO:It is unknown how the Armoc Mutate came into being. Not even the Venoc Warlord knows, all that is know for sure is that it was once a normal Armoc Viper. Some say it was the result of pollution, while others say it was captured by the marro and that is the result of them trying to combine a marro with a viper. Whatever the truth is the Armoc Mutate is a force to be reckoned with. While all vipers are unhindered in water, the Armoc Mutate seems to grow stronger while it is in water. Also the mutates presence seems to cause nearby vipers scales to grow tougher. Ullar counts this as a fine addition to his ranks.

Nevroc the half-ogre is a Heartbreaker Hobbies miniature called Half-Troll with club. Found one new for sale for $2.95 online. I've had mine for over 10 years

Note: These are still very much W.I.P. I plan on raising all their life to 7. The symbol at the bottom is to reperesent the Fatality ability. I also need to change Fatality on the cards where it is written out and replace it with the symbol.
The ability will read as such.
Fatality 15
After moving and before attacking choose a figure adjacent to 'insert name' that has one life. If you roll a 15 or higher destroy the chose figure.

Yeah, to be honest, I would rather take myself some zombies than these guys. You have to take into account wether your making customs people are going to want to be playing.

Ok thanks, I like the honest opinions. I am not sure how to determine point value so I am just guessing. I am making custom units out of the miniatures I have from my years of playing D&D and such. I will change it to 30 points which might make them a little better.

Not bad customs, jicmic. I'll give you the same advice I gave the last guy, though: Presentation is everything! An actual custom card or pic of the figs would go a long way to making your thread more of a standout...

Well I do not have a digital camera to take pics of the minis unfortunatly, save for the one on my cell phone. I tried it a couple of times but they came out crappy. I am working on trying to make at least the custom cards even without the pics on them.

Ok I made my first custom card. I don't have a pic of the mini I plan on using but at least I have the card.

I like the Scorpion card. The only thing I might change is the wording at the end of Get Over Here.

Scorpion cannot use this attack if he has moved this turn or unless target is on same elevation as himself.

Maybe change too:

Scorpion cannot use this attack if he has moved this turn or is not on the same level as his target.

As for points, his attack and defense are pretty high at five. Combined with six life and the ability to teleport without taking disengagement means he will be difficult to kill quickly.

I'd start him at 150 and see what playtesting tells you.
