-=Ultimate HeroScape Experience=-
Objective: To Create the “Ultimate HeroScape Experience” – A quick & easy way to set up, heavily reducing wait times, deepening HS’s strategic and tactical elements whilst maintaining its core values. Essentially creating the way HeroScape should be for people over the age of 16. Setting Up: Modular Maps by Gary Lasq (http://heroscape.glasq.com/mops.htm) – These premade large sections of map can be connected and rearranged to create new maps with ease, no more spending half the night with mates arguing over what’s “fair”. Pre-Drafted Army Cards by Conclave Creations – E.R.S. Div & YOU! (example sheet coming soon) – Create premade, effective armies to your likings and stock of figures. Use The Synergy Charts by Ryougabot (http://www.heroscapers.com/oldgaller...ing_charts.pdf) and The HexTreme Spreadsheet by Bixby (http://www.heroscapers.com/community...ead.php?t=6173) to reference and calculate the armies. To create cards simply copy-paste an army from the “Army Creator” tab of HexTreme into a blank spreadsheet, give it a kewl team name, rinse-repeat and print. In Game: HeroScape Elite Ruleset by Conclave Creations – E.R.S. Div (http://www.heroscapers.com/community...=5606&start=15) – A level above the Master Ruleset for very experienced players. In particular these rules enable every character to “level up” multiple times as they gain experience from battle. Command Cards by jbbnbsmith & Malechi (http://www.heroscapers.com/download/index.php?dlid=229) – Command Cards add real tactics to HS and really do make order markers a thing of the past. Many different types of actions are available and definitely take it away from the “move-attack-repeat till end” style of game. Quests of HeroScape by Teamski and Malechi (http://www.heroscapers.com/download/index.php?dlid=228) – Tired of the same old “wholesale slaughter of opponents” games, and don’t have the time or impetus to create scenarios? Using Quest Cards make it a different game every time and actually allow you to strategically plan your game not just try and stay out of the line of fire the longest. ---------------------------------------- Each of these enhancements add something great to game, but together they truly do create the Ultimate HeroScape Experience. Nice stuff, I like how you are adding multiple custom ideas. Just make sure you keep that simplicity that you are looking for.

Yeah, that's why i'm restricting the number of mods that would make the grade.

I like the way you have brought these different add-ons together.
Two comments: 1. You could clearly indicate which of the add-ons are actual changes to the rules of HS and which are just "meta" rules that don't change the official rules, just augment them, e.g. Modular Maps & Quests. 2. I'd be careful with the copyright you put on the bottom. That's the kind of thing that could get you a lawyer letter from Hasbro. I'm working on a d6 Legends RPG version of HS and I'm being sure to explicitly state that it is a "free, fan produced supplement". |

1. Could u shed some more light on which of these could be classified as a *change* to the rules not just meta? once again thx for the feedback.
From my perspective, given ure input, all the enhancements are conceptual changes, providing alternate ways to the basic rules of HeroScape. eg: Modular maps: changes the idea of having premade maps (and therefore scenarios) Elite Ruleset: adds in leveling and extra abilities.
