Check your local stores! Meijer's Castle expansion $16

I figured I'd hop around to the various department stores today to see what kind of deals they have on HeroScape stuff. I mean, who wants to pay full price for a bunch of plastic, ya know?

Anyway, at Meijer's in my area (Flint, MI), the only HeroScape product they had was the Castle expansion. It was stickered clearance for $19 but rung up for $16, so, bonus! What a nice set, lots of nice new rules!

I checked Walmart and Toys 'R Us and didn't see anything special. At least, they weren't marked down on the shelf. They had the 3 master sets (Valkyrie, Marro, Marvel) and a couple small expansion packs - that's it.

I'll definitely be checking around next week as well to see if they have any severely marked down for year-end clearance.

Good call. I found the last one at a Grand Blanc Meijer marked to 18 rang up to 16 something after tax.

I miss Meijer. Not out here in NJ...

Saw these for $15 at a walmart long time ago.. got one, now I wish I had gotten 2.... oh well.
