BIGFOOT and other nonsense(?)

I have toyed in the field of cryptozoology for many years now, and figured I's start something here.

Let me begin with this theory behind bigfoot - please not that it is not my own.

Bigfoot is an alien. He is large and furry because he is a scout, and his size and coloration provide him with great camo whilst still assuring his safety and ability to work efficiently in the environment.

The evidence for this? Whenever there is a spike in bigfoot activity, their is soon a spike in alien activity in the same area. This is fact and has been supported by legitimate study.

Oddly enough, when there is a bigfoot sighting, and the associated alien sighting, there is also an increase in ding dong threads here on Heroscapers.

I figured that with some of the more serious threads herein, that everyone could do to have some nonsense to read through and interact in.

The tavern isn't the kind of nonsense I'm implying though....

Ren, I must say that in the short time you've been here I have grown fond of your posting. You keep it silly and fun, but in check unlike th tavern I support you trying to have your own thread to break away from the seriousness and just have fun where the words *glass shatters* aren't in ever other post and every post without them is from DEATHWALKER.

I don't mind people making fun of bigfoot here and any other claimed mythical creature, paranormal event or whatever...

I have actually invested hours on these topics and more. Such discussions can be as light hearted or as serious as anyone would like. I don't take offense to anyone's view on such matter.

I figured it can't hurt to have something both fun and perhaps thought provoking on the thread to give us something else to keep an eye on. I know I'd like some more diversity to justify my hours spent here LOL.

I think if Bigfoot did exist that we would have more people who have seen him. I mean think about it. He's been around for how long? I dunno I just think we'd have some more substantial evidence if he were truly here. I personally don't believe in evolution, but do believe Bigfoot could still exist and it would be freakin' sweet if he did. As far as Aliens go I just dunno. I'm a strong Christian and the Bible said that God mad man the head. So if aliens were to exist they'd have to be dumber then us. I want aliens to be real. That would rock, but with my beliefs I just don't think it could. I'm not trying to push religious agenda on anyone, but I'm merely providing what I believe about Bigfoot and aliens and why. Sorry if anyone was bothered by that. I'll read your response and continue this tomorrow Ren, but for now it is bedtime...

Bigfoot actually has a multitude of sightings and other things attributed to him, we're only lacking in scientifically acceptable evidence. What genetic evidence we've come up with was non conclusive, as we could only identify it as belonging to an unknown, not yet classified primate - which means a new ape. Not a new bigfoot. Odd huh?

There are many theories on why we don't see more of him or end up with a body or something - he cannibalizes his dead, has hidden burial grounds, so on and so forth. I'm not going to comment on anything's credibility at this time.

Here's something else for people to discuss in this thread - kill him or witness him? If you were to come across bigfoot, say you were hunting. Would you kill him so you could prove his existence to science, or let him live as he obviously had population issues?

Here's another thing for people to consider - I actually made this theory up myself. NO I do not believe this, it's just mental junk for fun that may actually have some substance to it.

Look at our supposed evolutionary path. Our brains get larger, our body's get smaller. Now, put your typical 'gray' alien on the end of that evolutionary line. Consider, what mankind could evolve to in the millions of years to follow, his body would grow smaller, his brains larger, his eyes would grow larger to accommodate the less light from our aging sun, and develop dark lenses to filter out the increase in UV radiation.

Is it plausible that aliens are not alien at all - that they are us, simply time traveling for whatever purpose?
