Yep. I don't think I've ever played Runa without the Minions (which might mean I've never put an order marker on her, huh, hadn't thought of it like that before). You can keep Runa involved and then, when appropriate, be reckless, knowing that if she survives you can have another go at Mitonsouling or if she doesn't the Minions are poised and ready.

I've used it with Taelord too, but never very effectively. I think Taelord works better with ranged units.
