The knockback is pretty awesome on a map like Fire Isles.

I like having a powerful standalone figure at 160.

That's not what it means. Any figure that is adjacent to BOTH the target figure AND Shurrak is also affected by the attack. So it's a maximum of two other figures that can be mutually adjacent.
