C3G INITIAL PLAYTEST FEEDBACK FORM

NAME OF THE TEST UNIT Toxic Waste Barrel Destructible Object

- THEME TEST/ Check to see if there are any powers or stats on the test unit card that does not accurately reflect the theme or likeness of what the character would and could do. Also consider destructible objects, and whether or not this characters powers should affect them.
PASS

- SYNERGIES TEST/ Compare the unit card with all possible currently existing synergies to make sure there are no factors that could break the game by making any unit too powerful or too weak.
PASS

- POWER CHECK/ Consider the test unit and all existing units and all glyphs to compare to and check for any powers that could be over amplified and break the game. Each power must define when it takes place, who or what it affects, and What are the stipulations on the power if there are any.
PASS

- FUN TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play.
PASS, tossing these around is a blast. Even figures with SS were able to dish out wounds pretty regularly by throwing them (2 attack dice vs 4 defense to wound the thrown barrel)

- FUN COMPETITIVE TEST/ Consider whether or not the design was fun to play against.
MAYBE, there was almost too much auto-wounding going on. It noticeably sped up the pace of the game. It was even on both sides, so I wouldn't say it was broken though. Having 8 TWB's on the board was probably too much though. I'll use less of them in the second game.

- USAGE TEST/ Consider whether or not all of the powers on this card were used or at least usable.
PASS

- STRATEGY TEST/ Consider whether or not the design offers any real strategy or interesting tactics to the overall game.
PASS, Magneto tossing these is pretty nasty though.



Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? PASS
- Give a brief overview. The game went pretty quick with all the auto-wounds being dished out. Almost everyone in this game had a decent or high defense and so it was too tempting to go for a chance at an auto-wound versus attacking someone outright. Magneto was the MVP tossing people and TWBs around pretty easily and taking out team 2's heavy hitters.

Units: Magneto v2, Juggernaut, Destiny, Avalanche (915) vs Killer Croc, Parasite, Doctor Octopus, Lex Corps x2 (915)

- Does it pass, Yes or No? ???
- Give a brief overview. The Toxic Waste Barrel never came into play. With fewer of them on the board figures would avoid them. Was never worth attacking one in this game.

Units: Madame Hydra, Gorgon, Hydra Agents x2 (600) vs Ra's Al Guhl, Talia Al Guhl, Boomerang, Hand Ninja x2 (610)

Army Test
- Does it pass, Yes or No? PASS
- Give a brief overview. Having the barrels clustered in the middle worked out really nicely. It gave SS figures an additional chance at wounds without feeling too overpowered with the new change. I really like the TWB now and think it's good for testing, but would like to see the defense drop to 3 from 4. The Chemical Burn didn't trigger enough when thrown IMO. Now that it's a 50/50 chance at wounding a figure instead of auto it will make it just a touch easier to wound the TWB after being thrown.
