So far I've only managed it once, I neutralized his power with Morsbane and finished him off with Sgt Drake.
In the last game I actually drafted Thanos so that he couldn't. I insta-killed both...

- trance deactivates only when receiving a wound
- roll is reduced by 1 to 12 or higher
