Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

To piggy-back on this suggested unit... I really hope they have an "Old Man Drake" unique hero unit planned to release at some point, the obvious next step in the Sgt. Drake Alexander mythos....

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Okay, noted. I appreciate the clarifications.

Something else to look at regarding the cost of "HeroQuest": the base set costs $135, but the smaller expansion sets the include 18 plastic figures...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

I can guarantee this new Master set will not retail for $40. Especially considering (from what I gather and correct me if I'm wrong) they are launching the initial Master set via Hasbro Pulse. You...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

While I understand the intent behind the the stance that under the Hasbro umbrella, WizKids has kept their figures painted, the argument falls a bit short because the whole story about those...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Yeah, this would be a great option! :) Thankful to hear the figures won't be gray, and I do hope very much hope a wash is included with that.

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Has there been any mention of a wash being applied to the miniatures? I can understand the decision to have them be unpainted. The inclusion of a wash would help bump up the visibility of the detail...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Question! So if the miniatures are not prepainted, will they at least have a wash? The figures shown in the teaser video seemed to have that. Is that an option being considered to help overall...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Agreed, because I don't see any squads. But what a way to introduce an upcoming edition! Very much looking forward to finding out more, especially with the mention that Hasbro is "all in".

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!

Back when Hasbro was deciding how to package shipments of the first large expansion sets ("Road to the Forgotten Forest" terrain set and "Orm's Return" unique large hero set), she who was deemed...

Re: Scape still lives... and the old Guard are still kicking

Yeah, your ninja got ninja'd, but your army did Vydar proud. Especially the Micro-Corp Agent, in the water, on the 'Attack +1' glyph!

Admittedly, I needed a few turns to get back in to the swing...

Re: NHSD: SoCal Slaughter! 2012

Sadly, I'm not going to be able to make it this year.

That said, I'm hoping the smaller turnout this year doesn't signal the end of this event.

Re: PDF for Partial Cover rules

Good question. This probably should be added, you're right. In the instance the multiple friendly figures block the defender's hit zone, the attacker would choose which single figure is affected by...

Re: NHSD: SoCal Slaughter! 2011

So if I choose a unit or squad from the list, such as the Airborne Elite, I...

Re: NHSD: SoCal Slaughter! 2011

As weak as this may sound, I'm casting my vote as whatever it is that everyone else determines to be the format for this year. I'm down for whatever, as I know it'll be a great time regardless.
