Re: GTM HeroScape AoA Previews!
When the Marvel master set came out, I had my nephews over for a game night. The older had the five heroes, and his little brother was stuck with the villains, much to his lament... for about a...

Re: GTM HeroScape AoA Previews!
Pre-orders were briefly up on Renegade, but with broken links.
Painted master set is $225, $125 unpainted.
Battle box was $65, $45, IIRC.
Jungles are $50 each.

Re: HeroScape is coming back!
This is what my group has always done - With Heroscape, Pathfinder ACG, Vs System, Heroquest, etc.
All in all, we put about six grand into Scape across its lifetime, split between six people....

What type of terrain do you want most?[/QUOTE]
Oh, I’d love to be able to just replace what I have. It’s getting rather brittle. But as for new stuff I’d love to see anything new honesty. More...

Re: HeroScape is coming back!
That's what my group always did back in the day. We'd coordinate to make sure we had set least two of each unique, 3+ of each common and as much terrain as we copulation afford.
It made for a...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!
When the Marvel set released, my nephews (12 and 14 at the time) played a match of heroes vs villains on a map my friends and I had been using for classic scape. A couple of turns into the match,...

Re: Heroscape 2nd Edition is here!
For the past ten years, I've checked the site less and less, usually just for a rules clarification or to see what's new with C3V/SOV. Then, yesterday, I'm visiting with old friends after a loved...

Re: Announcing ScapeCon II: July 13 -- July 17
I haven't been very active on these boards for like 10 years or so, but me and mine still play and have recently introduced a few new guys to the game. I didn't discover this year's Scape con until...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
Just finished the premier of Loki, and I gotta say I'm super excited to see where this goes. Regarding its impact on the greater MCU, it'll likely effect further shows/films, but my main interest is...

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
The wife and I finished Zach Snyder's Justice League two nights ago (it only took us three nights!), and I've got to say, I thought it was awesome! As one of (apparently) the minority that thought...

Happy 1202021!
I love palindromes - words, phrases, numbers, all of 'em!
Every date of the next ten days will be a palindrome if you abbreviate the year as "21", but today is the only date this year that is...

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
Best comment I've read since I don't know when.
Currently, the wife and I are going through Titans, but in the next couple of days were gonna have to rewatch the first two seasons of Cobra Kai...

Animaniacs!
It's like a part of my childhood had been missing for twenty years, and I didn't even know it. While I wish more of the characters had been included in this season, the Warners and...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
During my nightly before-bed/dishes-and-laundry time, I've been binging Cheers for the last couple of weeks. Four seasons in, the show is as good (and bad) as I remember.
One thing is for...

Ditto. I sat up watching a marathon of Nova this weekend. I was disappointed they didn't mention the huge hexagonal polar vortex on Saturn, unless of course I missed out while doing laundry.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
I loved the heck out of it! Black Panther was easily the best single-main hero outing the MCU has had since the original Iron Man.
One thing which particularly stood out me was the villain. ...

My wife and I literally fell asleep watching that one. I'm pretty much done with the franchise now that Jackman's out (and boy did he go out on a high note!). Hopefully Deadpool 2 lives up to the...

Re: TV: What Are You Watching?
I almost stopped this one around episode 5 or 6 - it was just kinda dragging - but much like Agents of SHIELD, it pick up the pace quickly, and I'm glad I've stuck with it!
Lorna's turn at the...
