And here's the post-battle landscape:

Spoiler Alert!

It will be mighty tempting to bring out Galactus any time I need to take down a map. :D

Great report, always enjoyable to read these.

Galactus: Somebody get me 2 pieces of bread, cuz I'm gonna make a map sandwich!

That was freakin' sweet! Hawkeye and Thing did fantastic in that battle. Thing's Rock Hard was meant to allow him to go toe to toe with any Hulk figure, but apparently he's a nice counter to Galactus, too.

Re: davidlhsl's Battles

And now... a Burt's Beer Thought for the Day!

Many of you have heard that the Mayan Calendar expired on Dec. 21, 2012. Many predicted the world would come to an end. As should be obvious to everyone reading this, that didn't happen. So all the worries about the end of the world were incorrect. It also means the Mayans had a faulty calendar system.

Silly Mayans! Stupid Mayans!

But did you ever consider this: What if, in misunderstanding the way the Mayan Calendar was supposed to work, we had grossly miscalculated the end date; and the actual date the calendar runs out is actually Mar 9, 2013?

Didn't think about that, did you, Smarty Pants!

Enjoy the weekend with a flat can of Burt's Beer! Burt's Beer: Mayan's Revenge!

;) Wow, David, you're right. As an old Battle Lore (and other Richard Borg boardgame) player, I'm awed and amazed at this concept!
