When rights are taken too far.

I found this story today. I've heard of this group before and find it disgusting the way they hold themselves. Here's the story.

I totally understand the right to free speech, but couldn't there be some way to keep these bozos away from taunting family members of fallen soldiers?

So you've discovered the Westboro Baptist Church as well? They truly utterly disgust me. Surely there must be some restriction when they are publicly protesting and showing hatred of some of the most selfless people on the planet. A dead Marine's father once sued the WBC for protesting at his son's funeral but because they consist of a ton of lawyers, they were able to counter-sue him, which must have been a terrible experience. Luckily, Bill O-Reilly stepped in and offered to pay for all the legal expenses the man faced. There is also a veteran biker squad called the Patriot Guard that attends funerals of soldiers just to stop WBC from trashing it.

*sigh* That entire church is effed up to the extreme. Just like the majority of Muslims aren't radical terrorists, neither are the majority of Christians like these morons. They are the radical terrorists of the Christian community. It's a disgrace to God and country what they're doing.

Wow, what scumbags! To go to such extremes to push people who've lost loved ones is utter trash!

I hate to see people take advantage of others at their weakest moment. This just pushes that over the line.

I've been enjoying Anonymous's attacks on them.

I love that last line:

Anonymous hates leeches - Fact!

Thanks J.S., I liked reading that.

YW - I usually don't approve of Anonymous's tactics, but I'll gladly make an exception for them causing havok with that group.

Can't say they don't overly deserve it. It's also awesome how he actually does it during a live interview.

Re: When rights are taken too far.

These people are exactly like the KKK or the Taliban Jihadist, they use what is best about America to make life bad for everyone, if the courts or congress or the president, even thinks about doing something to stop them it would be with a law, but however laws are ment to be ambiguous so that no one gets more than someone else. These people know this thats why they do what they do, if anyone does something outside of the law to stop thier insanity, that person or group would be punished.

The only thing to do is start a protest of this group, like the bikers, show up everywhere they do and protest the protestors, with signs that say God hates the West Borrough Baptist church. etc etc etc

Really though those people are armed with knowled and money and they are working for the devil and they don't care.

I love how they call themselves Christians, but couldn't grasp the golden rule in the Bible: Love thy neighbor as thyself.

The group must be totally illiterate. :p
