Deep in the frozen plateaus of China, beyond the headwaters of the Yangtze River and the touch of humanity, the endless blizzards whip the earth and a maw opens in the inhospitable landscape. Far below, amongst the shadows and ice, two armies converge upon the location of a hidden wellspring.
