Hi Heroscapers,

I haven't been around much in '09 for two reasons- one good, one bad. The good- I was busy completing and preparing to promote my new book, Cibola. The bad- my dad has been battling a brain tumor.

Just had a weird idea for a different twist to the game. Perhaps someone has suggested this before.

Instead of a glyph, place a hero somewhere on the map. The first player to reach that spot and "tag" the hero gains control, and takes an immediate turn with that hero. Subsequently, whenever an opponent inflicts a wound on the hero, that player takes control and takes an immediate turn. The hero continues to change sides each time he is wounded until he finally expires.
