This is the second part of a three part overview of the Master Set as we build up towards the release date of January 4th. Treasure Glyphs:

Master Set 3 introduces a new type of Glyph: The Treasure Glyph. These Treasure Glyphs work similarly to normal Glyphs by granting special powers. Welcome back, to the world of Valhalla!

Today we’re going to start discussing exactly what you can expect from the latest Heroscape Master Set: “Master Set 3: Battle for the Underdark”. This is the first part of a three part overview of the Master Set as we build up towards the release date of January 4th. Our focus for week 1 of our previews is on what you’ll find when you open the box.

In the world of Valhalla, a battle rages. Warriors from all worlds and all times are summoned to fight in a war that could determine the fate of us all. The Valkyrie Generals Jandar, Ullar, Einar, Vydar, and Aquilla have allied against the evil Valkyrie Utgar as they seek to find and control the fifteen mystic wellsprings that hold the power to open up portals to other worlds.

Week @ Heroscapers, December 9

Map of the Week
Here's a map that has a high build requirement, but it is also high on the fun factor. This new map from BOV Judge, Dignan, was inspired by 'Scape member Lightbringer and designed for the multi-player tournament,
North Texas Shootout.

It starts everyone off on the corner of a deep canyon. Do you rush for the bridges and rain destruction on your opponent's start zone from height or try to sneak down into the canyon and hold one of the four glyphs?

Grab some friends, grab some spare hexes from Dr. Wierdscaper (who can surely spare them), and give this fun map a try.

Map: The Quad
Requires: 4 RotV, 4 RttFF, extra wave sand tiles

Necropost:

Recognize this?

Soldier Leadership's post, Stinger Denial,...

Change is in the Air...

Image of the Week

(Special collection ten has now been with us for a while. Some scapers have dived into using the new units. Other scapers, such as Talyn who made this image, are using the new figures for artistic purposes.)

The title says it all. Change is indeed in the air. We at the Week@HS crew have experienced some changes in our crew, and we (the crew) hope to bring some changes to you (our loyal - or otherwise - readers) as well.

First, we plan to continue to bring you the same high-quality images, maps, blogs, threads, necroposts, and interviews (come on Garada, where are you ) that we always do.

But we have a new plan.

Which brings us to the second part. Each week we will endeavor to present you guys with a discussion-worthy question that you guys can debate here in the...

The Chuthulla King comes to us courtesy of CupidsArt, and is actually the first piece submitted into the Figure and Custom Modifications section of the Gallery. It seems fitting somehow, since Thanksgiving is a time of reflection, and now we are reflecting on the very first custom posted! Kudos, CupidsArt.
