Fighting in the dungeons of the Underdark is not an easy thing for any hero. They must encounter terrible enemies like the Drow, the Black Dragon, and this mighty feral troll. 'Scaper Isamu has ventured into the underdark after them, and has catalogued some of their skirmishes.

Blog
No two scapers are alike. We each have our own preferences on gameplay, the units to use, how competitively we play, whether we use custom units and terrain, and even who we play with. Is My Heroscape Your Heroscape? is the question posed by Sylvano the Wasabus in his blog from earlier this week. Maybe we could all take a page from Sylano's book and try something new with our game.

Custom Creations - DC Heroscape

Posted January 24th, 2010 at 01:44 PM by truth

Do you love the Marvel set? Or maybe you've been thinking about giving it a try for the first time? Have you wished that there were more figures available for it, including squads? Do you wish the license extended into other universes, such as DC? What is a superhero-lovin' Heroscaper to do?!
Sure, you could play with the many customs on the site. But even though many of them are excellent, how do you know if they're balanced? What if they're not compatible with customs made by other creators? How much playtesting, if any, actually went into them?
For you the comics fan, we at C3G have taken action. We are very proud to introduce the first of hopefully many C3G releases: DC Heroscape Custom Large Expansion: World's Finest!"

Unsung Heroes of Heroscape.
I know what you're thinking. Unsung heroes? Must be an article about Kee-Mo-Shi! Or perhaps the underused Sir Denrick. Or poor Parmenio. Nope on all accounts.

In the spirit of the hero-heavy release of the new Master Set, Road to the Underdark, this edition of Week@HSers is dedicated to the heroes - a few of the unsung heroes - of heroscapers.com.

First off, we have Rodriquez. And contrary to his user name and posting habits, he is neither Hispanic nor Dwarvish. Every summer, Rod runs a Heroscape tournament at DragonCon in Atlanta. He drives all the way there by himself and lugs upwards of 20 or so maps each time. He charges the convention-mandated minimum for the tourney. He brings lots of extra figures to lend to last-minute players...

Jotun woke with a start, cheek hurting where he had used a fallen tree as a pillow. "What's that smell?" he thought. Small folks were approaching, and with them the telltale stench of magic. "Guard the Scar me orders are," muttered the sleepy giant, and grabbing his sword he headed to work...

This is the prequel to the campaign presented in the D&D Heroscape Master Set. It can be download here:
