EBON ARMOR
Long ago on Arctorus, these once simple suits of armor were filled with the very essence of discipline and war. Mindless, tireless, and perfectly obedient, the Ebon Armor live on eternally, returning to the battlefield over and over again. These martial animata will march into battle, using their enemies positions to protect themselves.
Einar has found the perfect soldiers to fight his war, and they will not stop until they win.

Since the beginning of the Battle of All Time, the ancient samurai have trod the battlefields of Valhalla. But until now, their nemesis has been absent from the war. Akumaken, the ronin that other ronin fear, has slain countless samurai. No one living has ever seen his face, for he wears the mystical Mask of Terror. So terrifying are the legends of this mask that those who see it tremble in fear. And with the Demonblade in his hand, his power only grows stronger for each foe he slays. Beware the wrath of Akumaken!

In the Eternal Warriors booster we bring you the Ebon Armor, constructs imbued with the essence of war. Accompanying the Ebon Armor is the legendary ronin known as Akumaken, who wears the ancient Mask of Terror.

The figures used for this unit are Rackham figures from the Ram Box set. Its model name is Black Paladins.

I love the Ebon Armor!
I can see a lot of potential for different army builds with these guys. Akumaken, on the other hand, has an interesting mechanic but I am not sure he will fit my playing style. But great job all in all. You guys are putting a lot of effort into keeping the game fresh. Looking forward to the coming releases the following weeks. First an awesome Star Wars release and now a new wave for classic Scape, looking just as good. We sure are spoiled these days. |

Wow, didn't expect to see this update until tomorrow...!
Akumaken is great, really solid. Ebon Armor isn't at all what I expected, though - definitely going to have an interesting playstyle. Curious how they'll be received competitively. |

I was not convinced by akumaken at first, until I realized all the synergies between the powers :
-1 attacks for common make it easier for counterstrike to work, and countersrike can earn him Soul markers ! At first I thought that he had only one attack per turn, and that it wouldn't be enough to go toes-to-toes against melee squads, but once you see counterstrike as attacks, it change the way you look at him ! I really want to try him now ! |

Ebon Armor looks fantastic!
So glad to be moving all of these figures from my 'Someday Box' and into my Heroscape collection. I'm pretty sure that I spotted all the units in the picture, except for the Bloodburst Thrall. Is it in there too? |

Nice figures!
 Love the Ebon Armour, (should work nicely with Unique Squads) and Akumaken looks interesting.One little quibble, though - I have to say, I'm pretty shocked that Akumaken's Terrifying instead of Wild. Being Otonashi's nemesis from her bio, I'd have thought it'd be a no-brainer for her to get her bonus against him.  |

@ Serenity...
All the Wave 18 figures are on the battlefield, but in the pic above some were cut out of the left side. The forces of Valkrill are fighting the Shieldsmiths, and 8th Pathfinders in the left hand corner...but you will see that part of the battlefield next week when they are revealed. |
