What's Up With Me...

Okay, so this isn't a 'Scape-related post, but it's my blog, so what the heck? I haven't been on the site very much of late, and it's mostly for good reasons.
Some of you know that I've been an author on the side for several years. My big news is- I am now a full-time author! I made the leap back in May and things are going well. I actually have three new titles out, and I wanted to share them with the community:
Quest- The third in my Dane Maddock Adventures series. It spent a week as Amazon's #1 'Hot New Release' in its category. If you like Clive Cussler, Indiana Jones, or the National Treasure movies, you'll probably like this series.
The Zombie-Driven Life- Geared toward adults and older teens, this is both a zombie apocalypse story and a sarcastic sendup of The Purpose-Driven Life.
Callsign: Queen- No, it's not about a cross-dressing secret agent. I co-authored this novella with Jeremy Robinson, author of the Jack Sigler adventures. An action-packed story from his Jack Sigler/Chess team universe.
My other big news is that I'll be making a major move in June. My wife accepted an awesome new job in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The kids and I are staying behind while getting the house ready to sell or rent, but we're looking forward to a new adventure out west. (Any 'Scapers in Santa Fe or Albuquerque?)
Anyway, I just wanted to share my cool news with the community and I hope I'll be 'Scaping more once things calm down.
Dave

Congratulations on the writing and best of luck with it. One of the good things is that its not location dependent!
Many years ago, I enjoyed the Southwest when I spent a couple of weeks there. It was the only trip I ever took alone with my father (see my blog for a short account). We covered a lot of ground, saw Emmy Lou Harris at the Albuquerque State Fair, among many other things, and both got cowboy hats! |

You're Dane Maddock series sounds interesting; especially since I'm a Dirk Pitt fan. I'll look into it.
