Jexik said earlier that he calls the chainfighters chain grab "yoink". And, for some reason, so did I. And I found the power that it had. With just one of them, I was able to kill 2 Nakita Agents and three Greenscale Warriors (using proxies of course). Then, I engaged two deathstalkers on lava field with him. No one died that turn, and it was the end of a round, so lava field time. And all three of them died.
By this point, I had one chainfighter, and my dad had one deathstalker and Eldgrim. Deathdog dies to a powerful attack from the chain.
I start to go to Eldgrim, who had no order markers on him (I couldn't get to him anyway). And I end my turn next to molten lava. He comes to me, doesn't kill me, and I yoink him into the lava.
So, on maps with a lot of molten lava, these guys can do amazing. I also killed a Nakita with this technique.
I'm pretty sure that it's legal, because you must only choose a figure within three spaces, and they were within the three spaces, and they landed on a same level space next to me.
I'm not sure how they would do on a map without lava, but they are great fun to play on a map with it.

Yoink is such a fun word to say, too.
But, still; 4/4 attack/defense with an ability to bring opponents to him, not to mention HiD, all for 25 points. With Ornak, these guys are going to be a beastly two-man squad. |

Not when you're playing with monks.

To SS: Can't Ornak only use RFoF on turn number 1? I don't have him, but I have used him before, and that's what it seems like to me.
To Spartacus: Thanks. Just updated. |

Oh, that's right, it's only on Unique Heroes. He can take a turn with any two figures in 8 or so clear sight spaces instead of himself when he reveals any order marker, but I thought it was Heroes, not just Unique Heroes.
Guess I have a new house rule. ^_^ |

Chainfighters can only pull figures into lava if the lava is on the same level as they're standing. Which it usually isn't.

To dok: Actually, the lava was onl the same level as the chainfighter. The ability would have still been good if it wasn't (like for Nakitas), but the lava made it so much better.
The map was Marro Wasteland by Bengi (I think) |

@SS - The Chainfighters are Common, so no Red Flag of Fury aura for them. They do get a movement boost from Warden 816, though.
GET OVER HERE!!! |
