I will post pics here and the scenarios but it is not going to be Classic Heroscape per se....it is going to be a dungeon crawl first without much regards for Generals other than special powers being activated. It will not be Vahalla....the heroes will become generic and as swarms of heroes invade the dungeons of StormDeep I will constantly tell the story, introduce new heroes, new traps, new rule twists, and all sorts of other fun stuff. Image of the week.

When Cmgames of pumpkin map fame took this pic at the
NorCal NHSD tourney it was already an impressive shot of the figures, but when he changed the background it rivals some of the official artwork. Wizards of the coast, if you're reading this, you've found your new photographer.

Custom of the week.

This week's custom is the C3G ally exclusive Swamp Thing. Now you may ask why we are featuring a custom that's already so prominent in the community. The reason is that we are also featuring an interview with C3G lead designer IAmBatman and the Swamp Thing was selected by the C3G as the unit to represent them in this article.

Heroscape - A Game that will Never Die

Posted November 3rd, 2010 at 09:48 PM by Sujoah
Heroscape is not dead in any way, shape, or form. DnD Heroscape is now dead with WotC dropping it. This doesn't mean that some other company might not see use for it. Some company that maybe uses commercials and promotes the game.

New Heroscape may be dead, but Heroscape will not be dead until no one (or almost no one) plays it again. I plan to keep it, and maybe when I'm an adult with kids, I'll get it out of the box and have my kids play it. And it'd still be Heroscape. Then the same with grandkids, and so on and so forth. There's plenty that someone can do with just an RotV or SotM or BftU or whatever. And 5 terrain expansions, 5 flag bearers, 3 large hero packs, and 13 waves of figures, and you have a game that can always live.

I'm posting this here because I wanted everyone to be able to see it. It was also posted in the Hangout.

In this issue: Images of the Week, What is C3V?, AliasQTip's Annual Heroscape Calender, and SotW #49.

Images of the week.

Our last two articles were pretty text heavy, so we're going to feature two extra images this week.

Life goes on, and that's no different for SoundwarpSG1. He's still making his epic figures, and that's not going to stop for a long, long time. Check out the rest of his work here.

From the Marvel world comes Cavalier with this beauty of a map. It's just a normal day in the city when... IMPACT! A meteor slams into the street, carrying a mysterious object. Of course all of the local baddies want the object for themselves, and the heroes
