C3V Wave 15: Week 2
DISCLAIMER: This is not official. This is a fan made custom project.
C3V Public Announcements Thread
This is where you can go to get started with C3V (Classic Customs Creators of Valhalla): Welcome to C3V!!!.
This thread lists all the units C3V has released: C3V Books of Index.
Havech Eradicators

They're finally here! This is one that our most dedicated fans have really been anxious to see, since they've been in development since before the release of Wave 14. After quite a lot of versions to get just the right design, we are very proud to present our new Marro.
Marro? Did I say Marro? They may not look like Marro, but, in a future era of the Marr timeline, a solitary Marro sect makes some sophisticated technological advances and starts incorporating cyborg parts into their biology, causing Valkrill to take notice.
To represent the technology, the designers added Mechanical Components, since the Marro Hive cannot recreate the technological bits. And, to represent the chaotic ideals of Valkrill, Plasma Surge was developed, a special power that is deadly, but dangerous to use.

Deathstrike Thrall

The Deathstrike Thralls are the second installment of Nicholas Esenwein's Valkrill army.
Being part of the mindless, monstrous thrall horde of Common Heroes, Mindless Pack was an obvious choice. But these Thralls have a very sinister purpose: damage their enemies by sacrificing their own lives so that the Preybloods can mop up. Together, they make a nice one-two punch for Nicholas.

Command Courier

Finally, we add another agent to the ranks of Vydar. This fellow relays Vydar's orders to the rest of his troops with the help of Command Dispatch. And, to make sure those orders get through, a Courier has to be Fleet Footed and hard to hit.

This week's glyph is the Glyph of Frosa. It turns water spaces into normal ice, for those times when water is starting to be a drag.

Next week, Utgar summons a unit for Cyprien's army, and Valkrill gets a new sergeant for the field. Plus, a new glyph that puts an interesting wrinkle into Order Marker placement.

A 30 point common that can roll 6 attack dice, and frequently take multiple turns per order marker... sounds deliciously evil. Perfect for Valkrill.

Nice stuff here! Hoping Heroclix made more than 1 Paladin sculpt.

So Fleet Footed is basically like Vanish 9, except you need an 11 or higher. Kinda cool, I guess. I like the Marro the best out of this week's units.

Hmm...
I love the Courier and Thrall. Low cost commons are always welcome! But I am not so sure about the Eradicators. They have solid stats and a fair chance of attacking several times in a turn. But the 1-6 chance of them blowing up sounds pretty high. Looks like a high risk high reward kind of unit. I guess I will have to playtest them pretty soon... ;p |

Think of the Eradicators that are a strong melee squad 4A/4D (6 move) that has a bonus range component...it may be risky to use...but there is always the chance it helps in a game, other times it is going to blow up in you face.

Yep, those claws they have are just too good to ignore. Sure, fire from a distance... at your own peril.

Can't wait to get these guys on the game table. I've had a whole bunch of the Therians figures for a long time. Used them in a scifi game I ran at a con. It will be cool to see them used in Heroscape for a change!
